ABOUT Caesura // Mattie  

Mattie is a licensed massage therapist and certified Esalen® massage practitioner, offering a unique approach through their practice, Caesura. Inspired by the concept of a musical pause- a moment to breathe- Mattie creates space for clients to pause, reset, and engage in self - healing. A graduate of Lauterstein- Conway Massage School in Austin, Mattie brings experience from both clinical chiropractic and spa settings. They have also completed a 100-hour Esalen® training program at the Esalen® Institute in Big Sur, California, blending Eastern and Western philosophies. Mattie’s sessions are centered on presence- based touch and mindfulness, combining orthopedic and clincal techniques to foster holistic relief for the mind and body.
